ViewWhether you choose a gap year volunteer programme in Borneo or Cambodia, you will benefit from taking part in a variety of volunteer projects aimed at improving the lives of communities in need. Most rural villages we work with don’t have access to clean, reliable water or adequate pre-school education facilities. The people you meet in Asia will leave you humbled with their kindness and generosity. You will also make a difference to the local wildlife and environment, through our conservation volunteer initiatives. Thousands of square miles of ancient jungle is under threat from commercial and illegal logging, destroying the natural habitats for countless animals, including the awesome and endangered orangutan. Our volunteer projects also include time to chill out and explore the wonders that Asia has to offer. You’ll be haggling in bustling markets, slurping delicious noodles from street sellers, exploring mystical ancient temples, taking in steamy jungle vistas and cooling off in warm tropical waters.
