Our fully supported school expeditions to Borneo and Cambodia provide students with extraordinary opportunities for travel, adventure and personal growth. Asia provides an unforgettable school expedition location. The multicultural island of Borneo is great for adventure and conservation projects. Cambodia offers an extremely rewarding community experience and has a strong cultural and historical focus. Students will travel out as a team and live and work alongside local people on a wide range of initiatives designed to help improve living standards within their community. We work in rural areas of Borneo and Cambodia where the majority of people are living below the poverty line and don’t have access to proper housing, education facilities, medical treatment or even reliable clean drinking water. Every expedition includes an adventure challenge which can either be an adventurous jungle trek, learning essential bushcraft skills, or undertaking a certified PADI Open water diving course on an idyllic tropical island.

ViewTraditions and cultures of rural communities are also being eroded at an alarming rate, so students will be contributing much needed support. They will work on several different projects during their expedition, giving them the chance to benefit more than one area and to be immersed in the amazing culture and traditions of the people they encounter. Our Borneo school expeditions (Jungle or Scuba) have a strong environmental focus. Students will live and work in the heart of virgin rainforest to help protect the staggering number of endangered and threatened animals that live here, such as orangutans, proboscis monkeys (and 8 other species of monkey) and pigmy elephants. They’ll also get the chance to visit Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary to see these amazing animals up close. Our Cambodia school expedition has a strong cultural element. Students will spend time exploring the town of Siem Reap and the capital Phnom Penh, visit Cambodia’s stunning ancient temples, and be moved by a trip to the killing fields to learn about the country’s tragic past. Our school expeditions are specifically designed to promote personal development for each student through rewarding, fun, memorable and exciting projects and activities.
