Explore New Worlds.
Through our awesome dive school partners, we can offer our volunteers the opportunity to gain PADI dive qualifications on our volunteer programmes in Kenya, Ecuador and Borneo. If you’d like to add scuba diving on to your volunteer programme speak to one of our Personal Travel Advisors.
Scuba diving allows you to venture in to a world largely unknown to most of us but that makes up 71% of the earth’s surface. You will experience the adrenaline rush that kicks in when you first take the plunge from the dive boat and the exhilarating freedom of breathing underwater. We regularly have the honour of diving with sea lions, turtles and rays, it’s an amazing world down there!
For those new to diving the PADI Open Water Course is the one for you, designed to give you all the knowledge and confidence you need to get you diving. The course length varies between four to six days. The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
Knowledge Development to understand basic principles of scuba diving – a bit of classroom learning.
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills – practice in the safety of a swimming pool.
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore – and you’re off into the blue!
For experienced divers there are further qualifications on offer from our dive partners, or if you just want to dive then bring along your PADI card. Our dive locations in Kenya, Ecuador and Borneo are undoubtedly some of the best in the world, now which to choose?
